A vintage motif on a black ground
The drawing is vintage, multicoloured, laid over deep black: the Marisa dress reads from across the room. Short silhouette, supple drape, and fine embroidery that follows the chest and the upper sleeves, punctuated with golden beads.
Modal, embroidery and pompom ties
The fabric is 100% modal, smoother and denser than ordinary viscose, with that silky hand that catches the light. The V-neck fastens with two pompom ties, the long sleeves are gathered with an elastic, and the matching belt comes with the dress. The elastic means the sleeve can be pushed up the forearm.
Wearing it between seasons
Long sleeves and opaque tights: the base works from the first cool days, with black ankle boots and a leather jacket. For the evening, belt the dress, add a long open kimono and heeled boots, and let the beads play with candlelight. The belt changes how the dress reads: worn high, it shortens the line further.
