A floral laid over multicoloured black
A black ground shot through with colour carries the floral motif, and the Mathilys dress stays readable despite the density of the drawing. The line is short and fluid, with a well-defined shirt collar that sets the tone at first glance.
Rayon crepe, buttons and lace
The dress is cut from 100% rayon crepe, matte and supple. The button fastening runs down the front, the 3/4 sleeves gather on an elastic and lace finishes edge the piece. A slip and a matching belt are included. The slip goes underneath, so the crepe is never worn on its own.
Wearing it in layers
Undo the first buttons over a fine roll-neck, belt it at the waist, add opaque tights and ankle boots: the motif stays centre stage. For a looser take, a long sleeveless waistcoat over the top, flat boots and a shoulder bag. The 3/4 sleeves leave room for a wide cuff or short gloves. Buttoned to the top, it reads almost like a shirt dress.

Care
