Leonie, navy georgette on the move
It is light enough that you barely feel it on the shoulders. The Leonie dress is short, cut from an airy georgette in a deep navy that stands in for black without imitating it. The fabric falls back into place with every step.
Viscose georgette, inner slip included
The fabric is viscose georgette, fine and slightly sheer, which is why the inner slip comes with the dress: it does the work of a lining and settles the question for good. The sleeves are long, 71 cm, gathered at the wrists with an elastic. The matching belt is supplied as well.
How to wear it
Georgette asks to be layered once the season turns: a fine roll-neck underneath, navy or black opaque tights, boots with a chunky heel. A dressier version: the belt knotted at the waist, a cropped knit over the shoulders and a long coat left open, the dress showing below and moving as you walk. Navy holds up beautifully next to burgundy.

Care
Dry cleaning is what the house recommends for this piece. Between wears, a pass of steam releases the creases without flattening the fabric. Keep it on a wide hanger, away from direct light. Avoid a thin hanger, which ends up marking the shoulders.
