A Black Blouse in Embroidered Crepon

The Alma is a black blouse whose crepon keeps a slight grain on the surface. The embroidery sits on it and the lurex chiffon catches the light in small touches, quiet while you stand still, livelier the moment an arm goes up. An inner layer is built in, so the blouse is worn just as it comes.

Viscose Crepon, Embroidery and Lurex

The stated composition is viscose crepon with embroidery and lurex chiffon, 100% viscose. Crepon is what gives the blouse its slightly alive drape: it does not cling to the body and recovers its shape after a day spent sitting. The sleeves are long and smocked, the smocking gathering the fabric along a band so the rest can billow. The inner layer backs the embroidered section.

How to Wear It in Cooler Weather
