Ecru cut through with black embroidery
The Jade Long Dress falls to the ankle in a bright ecru that black embroidery interrupts. The floral drawing gathers on the bodice, then returns along the edge of the sleeves. The cut stays straight and roomy, never stiff.
Rayon crepe and floral embroidery
The fabric is a rayon crepe, supple, lightly grained, with the fluid drape that follows movement. The V-neck opens the chest, the long sleeves reach the wrist, and the belt cut from the same cloth lets you mark the waist or leave it free. Two pockets sit hidden in the side seams.
Wearing it through the cooler months
Slip a fine black roll-neck underneath: the contrast answers the embroidery, and the dress sleeves cover those of the knit. Square-heeled ankle boots finish the line. When the weather turns, open a long coat over the top, belt the whole thing with the dress belt and add opaque tights. A soft leather shoulder bag then replaces the straw basket.

One size (M/L), FR 38 to 40, UK 10 to 12, US 6 to 8. Total length 124 cm, sleeve length 48 cm, chest 55 cm measured flat. Our model Pauline is 172 cm tall and wears it at the ankle.
Care
One trip to the dry cleaner and the ornament stays crisp. Dry cleaning, which is what the house recommends, looks after the fabric and the stitching alike. Store the piece flat or on a wide hanger.
